Former lovers, Kostya and Kira, are surprisingly reunited when they are asked to collaborate as screenwriters on a love story set in a music school. The script focuses on the teachers Rostislav (Dmitry Lysenkov) and Arina (Evgeniya Borzykh), who find themselves in a difficult situation, complicated further by the fact that Arina introduces a new colleague as her boyfriend to appease her demanding mother. Real and false relationships, both on paper (or in reality, as well as in the script), test all the characters and explore themes such as love, trust, sex, infidelity, friendship, responsibility, and compatibility.
