Former detective Dennis Crown has traded the chaos of the United Kingdom for a quieter life running a bar in Benidorm. But when tourists start turning up dead, he is reluctantly drawn back into detective work, encouraged by his waitress Rosa, a superfan of crime dramas. With Dennis's real-world experience and Rosa's encyclopedic knowledge of TV, each episode sees the two tackling a new crime in paradise while trying to stay on the right side of the local Spanish police.
