Sofiane, the son of a former Algerian diplomat, has traveled extensively. After moving to Lyon for his studies, he becomes a victim of an administrative decision and lives under the constant threat of deportation. In hopes of regularizing his situation, he agrees to work for a Muslim funeral home. Between parties, meetings, and work, Sofiane finds himself on a journey of initiation that will lead him to build his own identity and gradually move towards maturity.
